OUR STORY
Innovation Mi8 was conceived by Michael De Santis, Christian Fay and Mario Grenier, three longtime colleagues with a shared desire to combine their skills and extensive experience in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and road signage. They envisioned a singular business that would respond to the growing – and still unmet – demand for traffic data collection.
The company's three co-founders have worked together for many years. Michael specializes in ITS development, design and installation, while, over time, Christian has become an expert in marketing and growth strategy.
It was only natural that they would want to merge their complementary strengths, and slowly but surely Innovation Mi8 became what it is now. M for Mobility, I for Intelligence and 8 for the infinity sign. Innovation Mi8 was created to promote intelligent cities, a field in constant evolution.
OUR APPROACH
Innovation Mi8's mission is twofold: to collect traffic data for road work managers and to disseminate real-time information to road users (e.g. available parking).
By providing turnkey solutions for quality traffic data collection, Innovation Mi8 helps make travel better and more efficient for road users across Quebec.
